AAIDF Research and Steflik Grants

NOTE: Individuals who intend to become patients or clients are not eligible for AAIDF Research Grants and should not submit an application. These grants are to advance the science of implant dentistry and do not include patient treatment.

The Application for 2026 AAIDF Research Grants opens Monday, March 2 and will close Wednesday, July 1. 

As part of its mission, the AAID Foundation provides grant funding to researchers who are discovering new and innovative ways to advance the field of Implant Dentistry. Through grant funding, researchers aim to discover and translate their findings into implant dentistry practice. 

STAGE 1 - APPLY

STEP 1      Eligibility: Researchers in implant dentistry and full-time post-graduate dental students. 

YOU WILL SUBMIT AN ELIGIBILITY EVALUATION FORM PRIOR TO CONTINUING YOUR APPLICATION.

STEP 2     Project Proposal

FINAL STAGE - DECISION

Decisions regarding Project by December 31
