Those who have passed Part 1 of the Associate Fellow examination may take the oral/case examination for either Associate Fellow or Fellow membership. In either case, the oral/case examination must be completed successfully within four years after passing the Part 1 (written) examination.  Those who are unable to complete both parts of the examination within the four-year eligibility period may apply for a one-year extension of their eligibility.  The reason for the request must be explained.
